PTFE coating material is a new type of polymer material composed of a microporous membrane made of dispersed polytetrafluoroethylene resin and various substrates.

Ordinary filter materials include traditional needle-punched felt, woven filter materials, etc.

The working principle is the so-called “depth filtration” technology, that is, through the collection of filter material fibers, a “primary dust layer” (i.e. powder cake) is first formed on the surface of the filter material, and then the subsequent dust is filtered through this layer of powder cake. .

In the early stages of use, due to the large gaps in the filter material itself, some dust will pass through the filter material and be emitted.

Only when the powder cake is formed does the filtration process actually begin.

After continued use, the dust on the surface of the filter material will gradually penetrate into the filter material, causing the pores of the filter material to become clogged, and the operating resistance of the equipment will continue to increase until the filter material must be replaced.

At present, there are two methods of compounding ptfe coating materials: glue compounding and thermal compounding.

1. Glue lamination is a relatively basic lamination method, which has low composite strength, is easy to peel off, and has a short service life. Due to the penetration of glue, it has poor air permeability and is not suitable for dust cleaning, which weakens the superior performance of PTFE.

2. Thermal lamination advanced lamination method completely maintains the superior performance of PTFE film, but has strict requirements for thermal lamination technology.
