2. Determination of decontamination rate

The stain removal rate refers to the degree of dirt removal or the amount of dirt remaining on the fabric after the stained fabric is washed under specified washing conditions. It is visually compared with the standard sample card rating, and the rating method is used to evaluate the easy stain removal performance of the easily stained fabric. It can be calculated by measuring the reflectivity of the sample before and after washing. After measuring the reflectance, the decontamination rate of the sample can be calculated according to the following formula. At present, my country mainly adopts four standard methods for performance testing of easy to remove finishing textile products, namely American standards (AATCC and ASTM), European standards (ISO), Chinese standards (GB/T and FZ/T) and laboratory standards (BV, 3M, DuPont and ITS, etc.). Export products basically adopt American standards, European standards and laboratory standards according to the habits and requirements of different customers. Specific test indicators are determined according to product requirements. Among them, the easy stain removal test is to apply oil droplets or different dirt to the fabric, and then wash it with water under certain conditions to determine the residual stain status.
