The speed of the saw blade drum is one of the important factors that determines the productivity of the stripping machine. The relationship between saw blade drum speed, lint stripping machine productivity and cotton lint yield is shown in Table 9-2. The relationship between the rotation speed of the saw blade drum and the lint yield, the impurity content of short lint and the broken cotton seed rate are shown in Table 9-3 and Table 9-4.
It can be seen from the data in Table 9-2 ~ Table 9-4 that increasing the speed of the saw blade drum can improve The productivity of the stripping machine increases, but the impurity content of short lint and the broken cotton rate increase accordingly, and there is a positive linear relationship, which shows that the impurity content of short lint and the broken cotton rate are related. Therefore, the rotational speed of the saw blade drum must be properly selected on the premise that it is conducive to improving productivity without affecting the quality of the short pile. According to domestic and foreign data, the rotation speed of the saw blade drum with a diameter of 320mm is 700-730r/min, and the linear speed is 11.73-12.23m/s.
