Lycra functional fabric
Lycra functional fabric
Lycra (LYCRA) is an artificial elastic fiber exclusively invented and produced by DuPont. It can be freely stretched 4 to 7 times, and quickly returns to its original length after external force is released. It cannot be used alone and can be interwoven with any other man-made or natural fibers. It does not change the appearance of the fabric and is an invisible fiber that greatly improves the performance of the fabric.
Lycra has outstanding stretchability, so Lycra has a wide range of applications. It greatly improves the feel, drape and crease recovery ability of the fabric, and improves the comfort and fit of various clothing.
DuPont Textiles and Interiors (DTI) changed its name to INVISTA from September 3, 2003
TIPs: Generally, the content in fabrics is 2%-13%. It is a kind of spandex. When used in special underwear, the content may exceed 13%ZMUkIP0d8b
