Fabric coating finishing

Definition
I. A surface processing technology that evenly coats one or more layers of polymer film-forming substances on the surface of fabric (or non-manufactured fabric) to produce different functions.

II. Consists of two or more layers of material, at least one of which is a textile and the other is a fully continuous polymer coating. The layers are tightly bonded together by an external adhesive or the viscosity of the material itself.

The main purpose of coating processing
Coating can give fabrics changes in appearance and function. The main processing purposes are:
Change the appearance of the fabric: pearlescent effect, reflective effect, double-sided two-color effect, leather appearance effect, gloss effect, etc.

Coated polyester anti-UV fabric

Change fabric style: soft and plump feel, stiffness and high elastic recovery, etc.

Increase fabric functions: waterproof, oil-proof, acid-proof, alkali-proof, radiation-proof, UV- and far-infrared radiation-proof, etc.

Application areas
Clothing: raincoats, down jackets, labor protection clothing, etc. Industrial fabrics: tarpaulins, geotextiles, sunshade cloths, air supply ducts, automotive fabrics, etc.

Decorative fabrics: wall materials, floor coverings, chair and sofa fabrics, blackout curtains, etc.

Common coating agents
Commonly used coating agents mainly include:
Polyvinyl chloride resin (including paste resin and suspension resin)
Polyacrylate coating agent (solvent type, water dispersion type, ultra-fine emulsion type, etc.)
Polyurethane coating agent (solvent-based, water-dispersed)

Natural rubber and synthetic rubber coating agents

Coating method:

direct dry coating

Set coating (wet coating)
Transfer Coating
Laminated coating (lamination, lamination)
Spraying method
Vacuum coating method BsJAuOsM
