China’s evaluation standards for anti-static textiles
Tag:
Anti-static textiles Anti-static fabrics Anti-static fabrics Anti-static testing
The antistatic function of textiles is usually through special finishing (coating, surface metallization, etc.) and the use of conductive fiber materials (metallic Fibers, metal-coated fibers, conductive composite fibers, etc.) are obtained by pure spinning, blending, interweaving, etc.
Select the test method according to the fabric
The evaluation of antistatic properties of textiles should be based on the fabric Different methods are used depending on the nature, and the test items are also different due to different methods. Static electricity testing includes testing of dangerous electrostatic power parameters, testing of electrostatic properties of materials and products, testing of electrostatic sensitivity of flammable and explosive items, etc. The main parameters that characterize the electrostatic properties of materials or products include resistivity, leakage resistance, charge density and half-life, frictional charging voltage and half-life, etc. The evaluation of the electrostatic properties of textile materials mainly includes resistance indicators, electrostatic voltage and half-life, charge surface density and other indicators, as well as simple low-precision test indicators such as ash absorption test, sail test, and metal sheet adsorption test.
Types of test methods in China
China is currently using anti-static tests on textiles and clothing The main national and industry standards for performance testing include: GB/T12014-1989 “Anti-static Work Clothing”, GB/T12703-1991 “Static Test Method for Textiles”, FZ/T01042-1996 “Determination of Electrostatic Performance of Textile Materials and Half-life of Electrostatic Voltage”, FZ/T01044-1996 “Determination of fiber leakage resistance of electrostatic properties of textile materials”, FZ/T01059-1 999 “Method for determination of frictional electrostatic adsorption of fabrics”, FZ/T01060-1999 “Method for determination of frictional charge density of fabrics”, FZZY0 1061 -1999 “Method for determination of triboelectric voltage of fabrics”.
It must be noted that the applicability of different test method standards is different. Take GB/T12703-1991 “Textile Electrostatic Test Method” as an example. This method provides several different test methods. Not only are the test items different, the technical conditions are different, but the applicable products are also different, and the meanings they represent are also different.
