1. Design and production of yarn-dyed stretch fabrics
Mixing spandex into fabrics is a major trend in the fabric industry. The application of spandex in the yarn-dyed industry has just started in China. Research on the production technology and product development of yarn-dyed elastic fabrics is of great significance to promoting technological progress of enterprises, improving economic benefits and expanding the international market of yarn-dyed fabrics.
(1) Production of dyed elastic yarn
The production of elastic dyed yarn is the key to the development of yarn-dyed elastic fabrics. Elastic colored yarns come in the following forms:
A spandex bare yarn; B spandex plied yarn; C spandex wrapped yarn; D spandex core-spun yarn. Among them, A is rarely used in woven fabrics, and yarn-dyed weaving mainly uses three types of yarns: B, C, and D.
B and C can adopt the process of dyeing yarn first, then winding and combining yarn, and then twisting and wrapping with spandex.
It is suitable for yarn-dyed weaving of multiple varieties and small batches, but the finishing process is long and the cost is high. Spandex core-spun yarn is a natural yarn, which needs to be boiled, bleached and dyed for yarn-dyed production.
