The Macao SAR government has always been determined to promote the development of cultural and creative industries, of which the clothing industry is one of the main sectors. Since its inception, the CPTTM incubation program has trained more than 100 professional designers.

As we all know, fashion design is one of the fastest-changing industries in the world. Trends and styles are constantly updated every season, focusing on novelty and changes, in line with human pursuit of aesthetics. Therefore, the fashion industry needs more cutting-edge elites to join and inject more vitality.

Introduction to the CPTTM Fashion Incubation Program
The purpose and purpose of the Macao Productivity and Technology Transfer Center is to help improve Macao’s Productivity and industrial development encourage working people to improve their knowledge and skills to achieve continuous self-improvement.
The “Garment Technology Center” under the Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Center helps garment practitioners improve their production technology, clothing and image design, supervision and management, and comprador skills through technical training and technology promotion. . At the same time, it provides a variety of technical support and auxiliary services to the industry, and has a fashion information station to provide fashion and fabric trend information to Macao clothing manufacturers and designers. In addition, we actively support the industry in switching to branding routes to improve their competitiveness in the international market.

The “CPTTM Fashion Incubation Program” represents Macao’s original design concepts and is coordinated by the Garment Technology Department under the Macao Productivity and Technology Transfer. It is an initiative to implement the Macao SAR government’s promotion and support for the development of cultural creativity. The industrial program invites award-winning students from the “Fashion Design and Production Diploma Course” run by the center every year. Under the coordination of the center, the students are provided with creative themes and design concepts, and the students are led to design and produce a series of about 30 sets of clothing. , production management, sales and display and other simulated business platform work, so that students can understand the practical process of fashion design from concept to production through the program, thereby gathering more young people in Macao to join the ranks of fashion design and unleash their creative potential , jointly promote and develop the fashion design industry in Macau. In order to enable students to broaden their thinking, the center also regularly takes students on exchanges and visits to broaden their knowledge.
Each trainee is assigned a two-year term. In the future, we will gradually update the students in the design group and strive to continue to cultivate more young designers.
