Azerbaijan establishes Textile Production and Export Association

According to Azerbaijan’s Interfax report on July 11, Azerbaijan established a Textile Production and Export Association. An inaugural meeting was held on July 11. The person in charge of the Gilan Textile Park was elected as the chairman of the association.

The Azerbaijan Textile Production and Export Association is the ninth national industry association. It aims to coordinate import tariffs and tax exemptions for textile industry equipment, improve raw material quality and training and other industry-related issues.
