“1+N” textile and apparel industry cluster accelerates the gathering of Li County to build a 10 billion clothing accessories industrial park
On May 22, in Lixian Textile and Garment Industrial Park, the construction of the lace production line project of Hunan Mengheng Garment Accessories Co., Ltd. was in full swing. Li Hongwei, the company’s general manager, said that in February 2024, the lace production line project will be put into operation. The annual output value is expected to exceed 1 billion yuan, and the company’s total annual output value will reach 2.2 billion yuan.

At present, Li County has formed a light textile and apparel industry cluster with a total investment of 4.5 billion yuan, an annual output value of over 5.5 billion yuan, and over 5,000 employees.

At present, nearly 100 production lines of Ningbo Mengheng Garment Accessories Co., Ltd. and supporting enterprises have been relocated inland, and the Li County textile and apparel industry cluster is accelerating its gathering. “After the Hunan Mengheng Garment Accessories Co., Ltd. project is fully put into production, the annual total output value will exceed 3 billion yuan, and the annual output value of the clothing industry cluster will exceed 8 billion yuan.” Zhong Guangzhi said that Hunan Mengheng Garment Accessories Co., Ltd. plans to add zippers and buttons within 2 years.
