In order to effectively maintain the purchase order of the cocoon market and crack down on the purchase behavior of illegal cocoon traders, starting from October 17, the Gaoxian County Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau will carry out a joint rectification operation for the purchase of cocoons in the late autumn in accordance with the arrangements and deployment of superiors.
The Gao County Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau selected and dispatched a total of 6 staff members to participate in 6 joint law enforcement inspection teams. Among them, the Gao County Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau, together with Qingfu Town, took the lead in organizing the rectification of the silkworm cocoon market in Qingfu Town. Carry out in-depth order rectification of the cocoon market through various methods such as on-site inspections, stationed presence, and mobile inspections.
First, strengthen the inspection of cocoon collection sites. Carry out key inspections on cocoon stations and cocoon cooperatives, and require each cocoon collecting station to carry out acquisition work in strict accordance with the requirements of “no collecting cocoons with hairy feet, high quality cocoons at good prices”.
The second is to severely crack down on illegal cocoon traders. The Joint Market Supervision and Administration Bureau and other relevant departments have cracked down on various behaviors of illegal cocoon traders that disrupt the order of the cocoon purchase market and harm the interests of silkworm farmers.
The third is to severely crack down on unlicensed business operations. Jointly with the Market Supervision and Administration Bureau and other relevant departments to conduct a comprehensive investigation and cleanup of all operators engaged in the purchase of fresh cocoons; operators who have obtained qualifications are strictly prohibited from providing services for operators who have not obtained qualifications to engage in the purchase of silkworm cocoons through affiliation, leasing, contracting, etc. channel.
In 2022, the Gao County Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau dispatched a total of 150 people to participate in the order rectification operations of the silkworm cocoon market in spring, summer, autumn and late autumn. It has contributed to effectively maintaining the order of the cocoon market, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of legal cocoon and silk enterprises in the county, and promoting the healthy development of the county’s sericulture industry.
