Cotton has been growing well in various parts of Xinjiang recently, and cotton has been spun out in some plots. According to a cotton farmer in Jinghe, northern Xinjiang, more than 600 acres of cotton were planted this year, which is basically the same as last year. So far, the local cotton has sporadic flocculation and is growing faster than the same period last year. The cotton farmer said that due to different management of cotton farmers, cotton growth conditions vary from place to place. Some cotton fields have red leaf disease and cotton fields are prone to greening and late maturing. Regarding this year’s purchase price, the cotton farmer said that this year’s land contract fees and agricultural product prices are higher, causing cotton farmers’ planting costs to increase and their income to decrease accordingly.
