Coal-fired power plants are common in my country. The coal combustion process will produce large amounts of sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides and respirable particulate matter.

Due to the excellent properties of PTFE, the use of PTFE-coated filter materials made of PTFE membrane and high-temperature resistant fiber needle felt composite filter materials such as glass fiber in high-temperature environments can greatly reduce smoke and dust emissions from power plants.

In addition, the composite filter material of PTFE membrane and glass fiber needle felt is recognized as the most effective material to overcome inhalable particulate matter.

According to the calculation of 0.3 square meters of filter material for each kilowatt of coal-fired generating units stipulated by the power department, my country needs a total of 192 million square meters of this filter material.
