New tax list of 100 million Chinese products Tax details on textiles and clothing
The Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) issued a statement on July 10, imposing a 10% ad valorem tariff on US$200 billion of Chinese products exported to the United States, and released a 195-page list of target products.
A senior administration official said the tariffs would not take effect immediately but would be reviewed for two months during hearings on August 20-23.
