At the same time, Tianchen Company has also become the first general contractor among the six general contracting units of the Shaanxi Coal and Yuhua Ethylene Glycol Project to complete the intermediate handover of unit projects.
As the power source for the world’s largest coal chemical gasification device under construction, the 8#35KV regional substation took 90 days to complete the main frame of 2,770 square meters. After the civil construction was completed, in order to complete the power receiving node of the substation, the project management and operating personnel stayed behind during the Spring Festival to complete the installation of the 35KV main transformer, 10KV dry-type transformer, 10KV medium voltage distribution cabinet, and 0.4KV low voltage distribution cabinet. , debugging work, and setting up a power monitoring system, DC system, UPS system, etc., and laying about 70,000 meters of cables. The entire device series is divided into three series, of which the single series scale of ethylene glycol synthesis and ethylene glycol distillation is 600,000 tons/year, the system is highly integrated, and the benefits of scale are obvious.
Shaanxi Coal Group Yulin Chemical Company’s coal quality utilization to produce new chemical materials demonstration project is currently the largest coal chemical project under construction in the world. The total project area is about 13 square kilometers. The planned total investment is about 126.2 billion yuan, and the annual coal conversion is about 24 million tons. It includes a total of 27 process devices and supporting public works, mainly including 15 million tons of medium and low-temperature pyrolysis of coal, 5.6 million tons of methanol, and 1.8 million tons of ethylene glycol. , 2 million tons of olefins and downstream products using them as intermediate raw materials.
Among them, the first phase of the project has a 1.8 million tons/year ethylene glycol project, covering an area of about 4.4 million square meters, and the total project investment budget is about 26.5 billion yuan, it is also the largest coal-to-ethylene glycol device currently under construction in the world, and is scheduled to be mechanically completed in June 2021;
The first and second phases are to build 5.6 million tons/ The annual methanol, 2 million tons/year olefins and deep processing projects are planned to be completed before the end of 2023.
The second phase of the project is led by coal pyrolysis and is also divided into two phases. One phase is 1.2 million tons/year pulverized coal pyrolysis and 500,000 tons/year coal. The tar deep processing industrialization demonstration device is scheduled to be mechanically completed in June 2021;
The second phase will expand the pyrolysis scale to 15 million tons and extend the coal tar industry chain to produce aromatic hydrocarbons As well as downstream products combining aromatic olefins, construction is planned to start in 2022 and all construction content will be completed by the end of 2025. </p
